About

The Serbian Festival Sydney is an exclusively volunteer-run and organised event that was created in 2013 as an initiative of the Serbian Orthodox Youth Association (SOYA Inc.).

This small not-for-profit organisation is committed to youth engagement, community development and showcasing Serbian culture to the wider community. We devote an entire weekend in February to bringing the best in music, dance, food and community spirit to the heart of Sydney, for all to enjoy.

Now in our 12th year, we have worked tirelessly to refine every aspect of SFS to meet the needs of our dedicated volunteers, community members and partners. Through this display of culture we aim to share our knowledge of our heritage and preserve it for future generations. Simultaneously, we continue to weave ourselves into the multicultural fabric of Australia’s society, enriching the minds and souls of all who attend.
